He has pushed to hekp people clean up the area and bring in new businesses without hurting the community. Eddie says "the township has been cleaned up alot, but still has a ways to go. Sometimes people need help to clean up their property and it is our job to help them and to make others clean their property as well." Eddie will help anyone who is willing to help themself.

In the last six years we have been pushing to correct some things that were let go and also make progress to move the Township in the right direction. Our work is not done but the improvements that we have made are moving us forward. We have the support and help from the county and state to make this area one of the best to live and work.

We are going to be working towards cleaning up some of the area by working together with the people and getting ideas on how to make this happen. With the county's help we can get some of the run down homes fixed or demolished and start getting rid of old cars that are setting around the yards with no plates and parts missing.

But first we want to let the people know what the Township has to offer:

  • Energy Assistance - Program thru the county to help with Power bils.
  • Flu Vaccinations - Each October
  • Hall Rental - For Baby Showers, Birthday Parties, Reunions, etc.
    • Call for rates - available for up to 200 people
  • Annual Children's Christmas Party - Breakfast with Santa, Face Painter, Balloon Clown and Treats. The first Saturday of December each year.
