I am a widow and have two sons and six grandchildren. I have lived in Mitchell for over 40 years. I belonged to the PTA in Mitchell when my children were in school. I have always worked for the betterment of our township. I have done credit and accounting for 25 years. I am presently working with H&R Block as a manager.

Trustees:

The board of trustees carries out orders prescribed by the electors/voters assembled at a Township Meeting, either annual or at a special meeting. The trustees are the legislative arm of the Township. The trustees set policy and procedure for the Township Supervisor to administer. Also, they have some duties that they carry out as ordered directly to them by the Illinois General Assembly. All activities or projects must first get the voted approval by the Board of Trustees.
