My name is W. Todd Werner, I am 36 years old, I currently reside in South Roxana with my wife Sonja and our three sons - Christopher, Devin and Austin - where we have lived for the past 12 years. I have served the community in which we live for the past 13 years. I have 17 years in fire service, and currently serve as the Assistant Chief of the South Roxana Fire Protection District as well as 10 years working with law enforcement. I am also employed as a Paramedic for Alton Memorial Hospital and have worked in this field for 17 years. It's with these experiences I feel have granted me the knowledge and understanding of the needs of Chouteau Township Citizens. I have a very good understanding of fiscal responsibility and the successful workings of a unit of government. With current economic trends it is our job as trustees of the township to be as economically responsible as possible. And to continue to provide the best services available to the citizens of Chouteau Township.

Trustees:

The board of trustees carries out orders prescribed by the electors/voters assembled at a Township Meeting, either annual or at a special meeting. The trustees are the legislative arm of the Township. The trustees set policy and procedure for the Township Supervisor to administer. Also, they have some duties that they carry out as ordered directly to them by the Illinois General Assembly. All activities or projects must first get the voted approval by the Board of Trustees.
